JERELL PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:
Production Assistant is a Full- time entry level role for a detail oriented and very organized individual who wants to learn and contribute to the growth to a well-established women�s apparel manufacturing company. This new team member will help coordinate production from pre-production to final finishing and shipment of final product. Work with current vendors to establish and nurture relationships to better coordinate and communicate production needs. Will train new hires.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Communicate daily comments with overseas factories and work closely with Product Developer and Designer to keep teams informed of any adjustments and/or issues.
- Organizes and submits development as received to product development
- Assist in checking-in and reviewing T.O.P samples and communicating changes/ approvals to factory
- Assisting with the management of all sourcing, costing and production processes.
- Manage and track all submissions for material lab dips, strike offs, trim developments, treatment washes and print development techniques
- Participate in team meetings, including departmental cross-functional meetings to discuss approval status and resolve issues as necessary
- Data entry, T&A calendar for all labels, maintain and update tracking report on a daily basis in Excel.
- Clerical duties as needed (filing)
- Assist CAD team with setting up line sheets, paper dolls and print recolor
Basic Qualifications:
� Minimum of 1 yr experience in the apparel industry required
� Creative eye for color and artwork.
� Some knowledge of manufacturing process including execution of fabrics, garments, artwork, prints, appliqu�s, embroidery.
� Understanding calculations, costing/margins and basic mathematics
� Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
� Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a MUST
� Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
� Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and have a sense of urgency.
� Strong organizational skills.
� Must be detail oriented, and have a strong attention to detail.
� Good communication skills
� High motivation, willingness to learn
� Able to multi-task, prioritize, and organization skills
- Strong work ethic to excel in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Expertise in Microsoft office
Required Education:
Bachelor�s or Associates Degree in related field preferred. Experience preferred in Product Development and CAD/Print Design.
