Gerber Technology is looking for enthusiastic and motivated college students to be part of our Summer Intern program. Paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks between June and August 2017. Our interns will work on projects designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently under a supervisor and mentor. They will contribute to project teams and initiatives to brainstorm solutions. We re looking for people with the intellectual, analytical, and creative ability to learn quickly, identify issues, and propose innovative solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
During your 10 week internship, you'll work in our Software Business unit helping to coordinate our Ideation (Gerber's Premier Software Conference) 2017 fashion show. In addition, the internship will work on our academia outreach program to ensure it is meeting milestones and achieving results.

* Discover potential job areas, fields of specialization or areas of future study
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Currently pursuing at least a BS in Fashion, Textile or Apparel-related major or Business major with strong interest and background in fashion and apparel
* Current Sophomore or Junior enrolled in an undergraduate program; GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale desired
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Must continually strive to acquire new skills in relevant technology and business areas
* Ability to work both independently and in groups
* Ability to prioritize and set goals on shifting priorities
* Effective time management skills
* Prior participation in project or teams with demonstrated contributions, prior Co-op or internship, or other activities related to field of study a plus
* Housing not provided. Must be local candidate or able to secure housing.
