Company description: We are a growing Bedding and Home Textile Design and Marketing Company, based in Dallas/Carrollton area. We partner with high profile retailers across the United States in order to provide quilts, decorative pillows, throws, sheets, table linens, bedding accessories and more.Job description: Senior Designer will be responsible for leading and managing design team in all aspects of the design process. They will be responsible for working with the marketing and product development teams to meet deadlines for creating and designing product.
Responsibilities include:
* CAD and design
* Facilitating the development of styles from design to production
* Completing technical specifications
* Establish initial block spec and construction details
* Presenting trends and concepts to customers
* Creating seasonal color palettes and trend direction
* Competitive shopping experience for new product concepts, print and pattern direction
* Providing color direction to design studio/CAD artist
* Communicating comments, revisions and approvals to overseas offices
Required skills and experience:
* B.S. or B.F.A. degree in Textile or Fashion design required
* Experience in the design industry
* Must be very proficient in: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
* MS Office programs
* Ability to sketch by hand as well as utilizing computer programs
* Excellent presentation skills
* Design experience with a manufacturer or retailer a plus
* Working knowledge of textile printing, weaving, dyeing and finishing processes
* Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects at the same time
* Experience with approving lab dips and print strike-offs

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to assist design team in all aspects of the design process.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
*Oversees creation and updating of spec/tiff files from Product Development team
*Communicates printing and construction processes with factories
*Completes technical specifications of tech packs with PD team
*Works with design team leadership to ensure correct spec and design direction
*Organizes artwork library and account library
*Assists with Ecomm photography for website
*Edits photos for ecommerce sites
*Communicates any spec/design changes to PD team
*Determines cost effective construction methods and new techniques
*Works well with tight timelines to full completion
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
*Attention to detail, highly organized
*Bachelor�s degree in Fashion/Textile design or related field required
*Must be highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
*MS Office programs
*Design experience in product development/apparel preferred
*Excellent presentation skills
