Technical Designer
Overview:
As a technical designer, the individual will be responsible for executing technical aspects from development to production for multiple product lines. They will ensure that product meets or exceeds company specifications, fit, and construction standards through efficient and effective communication with manufacturers and development team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily with design and production to meet production timelines.
- Measure garments with accuracy and resolve fit issues.
- Modify patterns based on fit comments.
- Develop tech packs, bill of materials and measurement specifications for samples.
- Track and manage samples and information when working with vendors.
- Work in a fast paced environment, able to multi task and have a quick turnaround on projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience in patternmaking and grading.
- Proficient in Excel, PLM, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Minimum 3 years of working in women�s apparel.
- Must have attention to detail and have strong organizational skills.
- Reliable and flexible to adapt to workload.
- Be professional and work in a team environment.
